Dr. Karen Marshall B.D.S. (Glasgow) Principal Dentist
After qualifying from Glasgow University in 1987, Karen worked in general practice in Scotland for several years before being offered a position in Australia as Head of the Dental Department in Griffith Base Hospital.

Here she gained a wealth of experience in managing a busy Dental Department, as well as co-ordinating & treating patients in outlying clinics.

Shortly after arriving in Javea in 1993, Karen established Clínica Dental el Puerto and, due to patient demand, was soon recruiting other experienced dental professionals to join the dental team.

She enjoys all aspects of general family dentistry but particularly cosmetic dentistry, and takes her greatest professional satisfaction from seeing, initially nervous patients who were unhappy with their smiles, beaming confidently when treatment is finished.
 
 
 
 
 

Dr. Sonia Cordoba. Dentist (Val) M. Neural Therapy
Sonia qualified as a dentist in 1999 from Valencia University Dental School. She started her career as a Dentist at a private practice in Mallorca. 3 years later, she decided to expand her development by relocating to Bristol, UK.

There she gained extensive knowledge and experience, in dentistry & the English language, in a busy practice before returning to her native Spain where she happily joined Clínica Dental el Puerto’s enthusiastic, professional team in 2005.

During her 4 years at the clinic, she has actively pursued further skills and knowledge of modern dental techniques and has successfully completed advanced degree courses in Applied Kinesiology, Neural Therapy & Neurofocal Dentistry and Neuro-occlusal Rehabilitation.

Dr Nina Khaira. BSc BDS(Lon), MFDSRCS, LFHom.
Nina is an aesthetic dentist who graduated from Kings College London and was immediately offered a prestigious position at Guys Dental Hospital.

Here she gained valuable experience in advanced restorative dentistry and surgical dentistry whilst working alongside some of the profession’s best dentists. Nina then relocated and worked in a busy general dental practice for 4 years, in Cornwall, UK, where she gained a Membership to the Faculty of Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons.

Nina’s interest in Homeopathic complimentary treatments has been developing throughout her career and she recently qualified at the Royal Homeopathic Hospital, London, in the assessment and administration of relevant homeopathic treatments.

Karen Pimlott. Hygienist
Karen Pimlott qualified as a Dental Hygienist, in Manchester in 1979, and went on to work as a Tutor Hygienist. She has also worked in specialist dental practices, alongside periodontists & implantologists, and caring for patients with special needs.

In 1999, Karen graduated as a Dental Therapist and worked in a dental practice specialising in children’s dentistry & nervous adult patients.

Karen has worked and lived in Spain for over four years with her family. In that time, she has established her reputation as a caring, gentle Hygienist and is an integral part of our dental team, enthusiastically promoting better oral health to all of her patients.
